This privacy policy applies to the Chrome extensions YT Summarizer and Reddit Thread Summarizer (the "Extensions"), developed by Adam E.

Data We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. The Extensions do not have access to your name, email address, or any account information.

Local Storage

The Extensions store the following data locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API:

• A daily usage counter to enforce the free tier limit. This resets every day and never leaves your device.
• Your subscription status if you upgrade to Pro via ExtensionPay.

This data is stored only on your device and is never sent to our servers.

Content Processing

When you click Summarize, the text content of the current page (YouTube transcript or Reddit thread) is sent to the Groq API for AI processing. This data is used solely to generate a summary and is subject to Groq's Privacy Policy. We do not store or log any of this content.

Payments

Payment processing is handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe. We do not store or have access to your payment information. Please refer to ExtensionPay's Privacy Policy for details.
